Anna Casador - Saccoccio
Anna Casador – Saccoccio was born in Providence, Rhode Island.
Her love of travel and adventure has taken her to exotic and beautiful locations including,
Azores Islands, Bermuda, Costa Rica, and many more.
She lived in the US Virgin Islands for a few years and was the proud owner of Anna’s Café, serving all kinds of Portuguese foods and desserts, , and making and providing elaborate custom cakes and desserts for weddings, other venues and functions. After moving back to Rhode Island, she is now the owner and artist of AMC Permanent Cosmetics & Wellness, Vice President of Thermal Energy Inc. and the Founder and President of Eric Medeiros Memorial Foundation, a non profit foundation started in memory of her son Eric.
She still offers her delicious bakery treats for private parties.
She has been a proud member of the St Mary's Feast Society, serving over 5 years as General Treasurer. Anna was the first to hold the Elite National American Women of Service title representing Rhode Island, and came back in 2019 to win the Classic National American Women of Service title. Making her the first delegate to win 2 National titles with the organization. She has been selected as Mrs. Knighstville Rhode Island America for the last 4 years and currently holds the titles of 2020 Mrs. Rhode Island American, and is headed to Las Vegas in March 2021 to compete at the prestigious Mrs. American Pageant.
2019 Elite Rhode Island North American, finishing 1st runner up at Nationals
and the reigning 2019 Ms. Rhode Island New England States.
She recently opened Eric’s Way Thrift Spot, in Cranston, offering gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, etc. for men, women and children, with all the proceeds going to the foundation to help support the ongoing work in our communities.
Anna has received multiple awards and recognition for her volunteer work in the community:
· Outstanding Benefactor Award from RI House of Representatives, City of Cranston and Mayor Alan Fung and St Mary’s Feast Society (2019 & 2015)
· President’s Lifetime Achievement Award (2020 & 2017)
· Abigail Kate Ladner Memorial Award (2017) – Dedication to community service
· She was also a top winner 3 years in a row at Purple Cat Winery Cup Cake Challenge to benefit the local animal rescue.
She currently resides in Cranston with her husband Frank, has 3 daughters and three grandchildren. She enjoys cooking, baking competitions, traveling, and spending time with friends and family and also
all her rescued pets.
